This project involved designing a commercial retail shop within the KLIA 2 transport environment. The concept “Unity in Diversity” reflects Malaysia's multi-ethnic harmony, blending traditional cultural beauty with contemporary design. The retail offers a curated coffee experience, integrating product sales, customization, and cafe service.

Key Areas

• Retail Display System: A flexible system inspired by diversity, using cylindrical oak wood forms with integrated LED lighting. Includes wall features, multi-function displays, and mini-drawer storage.

• Island Displays: Inspired by unity, using circular overlapping forms. Most units are movable, allowing easy reconfiguration for events or functions.

​

• Coffee Dispenser Area: An interactive zone where customers can smell, touch, and select coffee beans before customizing their packaging in the adjacent Workshop.

​

• Cafe Area: A space for relaxing, dining, and socializing, complementing the retail and workshop experience.
